We do have a few add-ons that will be required for guild members to use while raiding. I know some people prefer not to use add-ons and some people have a hundred of them. We will try to keep the required add-ons list small, but there are some add-ons out there that simply make raiding easier. Scroll further down for the required stuff. Otherwise, we do have lists here of stuff officers recommend to make your gaming experience more enjoyable.

The following are the interface mods we require all raiders to have to effectively raid. Please download these mods from our website, rather than from Curse.com or whatever your preferred interface site is. The reason for this is so that we all have the same version. Most mods aren't backward compatible with older versions of itself, so we all need to be on the same page. We will update these mods ASAP, especially after a major patch (which, as most WoW players know, tends to really screw up interface mods). With every new major patch it seems as if Blizzard incorporates some previous third-party mod into the game directly as part of the Blizzard UI, so if any of our required mods ever get sucked into the game directly, we'll no longer use the third-party stuff. The less mods you have to load, the better. The first and probably most important raid tool we use isn't an interface mod at all. We require the use of Ventrilo, the third-party voice chat program. I know there's Teamspeak, and I know there's in-game voice chat, but I (that is, Cyrah) pay for a Ventrilo server for the guild, expressly because Blizzard voice chat is still pretty bad and doesn't work consistently for everyone. And I just don't use Teamspeak. Nothing against it, but it's not what I use. I gladly incur the extra cost of the Ventrilo server because it works, and voice chat is necessary when raiding. It doesn't really matter if you have a microphone or not. You simply need to have speakers or headphones and Ventrilo, so that all raiders can hear instructions during raids. Please download the Ventrilo client here for your particular OS platform. Our Ventrilo server does support Macintosh. Server information can be found in the game, under the "Guild Information" tab in the guild window (or on the forums when they are up).
Guild members are welcome to use the Vent server even when we aren't raiding, for partying or organized pvp or just to hang out and chat. Raiders should use Deadly Boss Mods. It can be downloaded here. DBM gives alerts on special moves that the bosses have that will probably two-shot you if you don't do what you're supposed to. It's sometimes difficult to keep track of everything that's going on in the raid in addition to doing your job. DBM makes it easier, by alerting you with sound and/or some sort of text alert, that something is about to happen that you need to pay attention to. It also makes the raid leader's job a lot easier. Raiders also need to download Omen. Omen Threat Meter basically shows you who has aggro from a mob, and also gives you a really good idea of how close you are to taking aggro away from the main tank. Considering that raid dungeon mobs can two-shot most players, it's a good idea to keep an eye on Omen and slow down your attacks if you're about to take aggro. Omen is a pretty sensitive mod, so try to keep it updated as much as possible. The third and final requirement for raiders only applies to priests, druids, shamans, mages, and paladins. These classes all need to download Decursive. This mod alerts these classes when there's someone in their group/raid that needs to be cleansed or de-poisoned or de-cursed. You still have to click on the Decursive interface in order to cast the cleansing spell, but it makes life a helluva lot easier for all these classes.
